Ducklings - Under Construction
These are 2 Indian Runner ducklings - a Black and a Cumberland Blue (Snap and Crackle).
This little, 3 week old Silver Appleyard duckling (Martha) is beginning to undergo the color changes which will culminate in her juvenile plumage. She is learning to sleep with her head under her wing "like a big girl."
When Appleyards hatch, they are uniquely colored - yellow with black "mohawks" and tails.
